At this point, we all know that supporting local businesses is beneficial to not only the business but the entire community.  But did you know that there are other ways you can help support a local business besides just purchasing items or services from them?  Below are some other ways in which you can help our local business owners.  We would like to challenge you to do each of these things before the holiday season!

• Share a business’s posts on social media
• Leave a business a positive review
• Buy gift cards for stores and services
• Tip generously
• Refrain from negativity. Everyone and every business has “off” days.
• Share your positive experiences with those you know… word of mouth goes a long way!
• Sign up for a business’s email newsletter
• Attend events that a business or organization is hosting
• Be Kind. The holidays can get busy and stressful but be sure to leave a kind word with your local business owners, they appreciate it more than you know!
